Block H12 - Hannah Lou's Hearts

One more block today. If you look at the fabric you'll see that some flowers are little hearts, so what better fabric for this block!!

This was another more challenging block, since I just rotary cut and machine sewed it. But I quite like it.

I really enjoyed sewing this block!! It was finished very fast.

I can rember that this block gave me a lot o trouble with my first DJ. I think I did it about 4 times, till I was satisfied with the result. This time I am happy with my first attempt.

Another more challenging block to me, because I didn't paper piece, but rotary cut and machine pieced. It came out a little wonky, but I like it anyway.

Block J12 - Rebecca's Basket

One of my favorite Dear Jane blocks. I found a scrap of this Liberty fabric I used for my first DJ, I really love this fabric. The basket is a bit wonky, but I hope to improve it with my quilting.

Here are two mosaics with my first 18 blocks. Each 9 finished blocks I'll make a new one. I like it to see them together, I already get the impression of a finished quilt.

This block was more challenging. Everybody does it with paper piecing technique, but I decided to rotary cut out all the pieces and sew them. I'm happy with the result!
